HISTORY
For over 50 years we have been a hub for sewing machine enthusiasts in the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads, Northern Rivers & Brisbane areas. The company Overtons Trading Company Pty Ltd known as Overtons Sewing Centre was founded by Dereck & Norma Overton in 1960 using fruit boxes as demo & display tables covered with table cloths to get started. The business has stayed in the family ever since. Paul and Robin Overton are now the owners of the business after acquiring the Allcraft Sewing Machines name in 2008. To this day clients of ours can enjoy our friendly customer service, specialist knowledge of sewing machines and our ability to repair almost any machine.
